In "The Kingdom of Childhood," there's a scene (or two) in which the child Judy visits a kitchen decorated with gingerbread molds, including one shaped like Struwwelpeter, the children's book character who makes a number of appearances in the novel. I bought several of these molds recently as a little present to myself, but I honestly had no idea, until I went a-shopping, that I would be able to find an actual Struwwelpeter one. Here's a photo I took for my 365 Days photo project. I envisioned the one in the book a little differently, but I'm still tickled to have found this one. (Via House on the Hill).
